asking myself that question all spring (you may have noticed, there wasn’t a lot going on this spring), and eventually, I gave in. I picked up an iPad Pro with the new and improved keyboard case, complete with a built-in trackpad for the full experience. And guess what? I loved it! I was surprised how thorough and enjoyable a curser could be on an iPad. The special way Apple designed it so that it hovers over icons and buttons and sort of leaps between them is delightful. It feels as functional as a regular computer cursor but looks so much more interesting. It looks like a cursor should look on an iPad.
I began working from the iPad Pro in earnest. I even left my MacBook Pro off most days. I felt the familiar calming effect that working from an iPad instills. No windowing, limited multitasking, just me and the app in front of me. I also experienced the freedom of LTE data on a computing device while I worked from a campground.
